BLACKWATER is looking forward to the return of full practice next week, hoping new import Shawn Glover to adapt right away as the Bossing try to end their slump and salvage a berth in the PBA Governors' Cup playoffs.

The management brought in Glover as the Bossing dropped their first five games with Jaylen Bond.

On Wednesday, the Dallas, Texas native took his official height measurement in the PBA office and gained a clearance to play after being measured at 6-5 1/4 .

But since the PBA is still seeking approval of local government units for the resumption of team scrimmages, Glover is limited to small group workouts with his Blackwater teammates.

Nonetheless, Bossing coach Ariel Vanguardia said the Oral Roberts stalwart is getting acquainted with the team.
Glover, 31, has been a fixture in the Iceland league with the KR Basket team. Last year, he even led the league in scoring with 26.2 points per outing with Tindastoll.

He's a winner, having won a championship with the Bakeen Bears in the Danish league in 2016. Glover and the Bears ruled the Danish Cup with the import bagging the MVP plum.

In college play, Glover was All-Southland second teamer in 2013 and gained first team citation the following year.

Prior to a three-year stint with Oral Roberts, Glover spent some time in Utah. (SB)(PBA)
