Humatag si Justin Chua ng 17 points at 9 rebounds para umantabay sa ordinaryong numero mula nina Jason Perkins (17) at Matthew Wright (16) at tulungan ang Fuel Masters na masundan ang kanilang 96-84 pagpisak kontra Terrafirma noong Huwebes at paigtingin ang kanilang quarterfinal drive.
Ang alipores ni Topex Robinson, na kabisala sa buong torneo, ay umusad sa pangwalong posisyon tala ang 4-5 overall.
"We have a lot of things to work on as a team. Good thing is, we have control of our destiny. We just have to grind this out in our last two games," sambit ni Robinson.
Pero kailangan pang hasain ng todo ng Fuel Masters ang kanilang sarili para makasilip sa final kasama ang mga batikang San Miguel at Barangay Ginebra na makatulak sa standing.
"This conference has been a challenge but I'm sure there are other guys in the team who are like me who enjoy challenges," ani Wright.
"These next two games against great teams are gonna be huge but it's just basketball.
As good as these two teams are, they're gonna have to guard us, too.
"And I think we're slowly gaining momentum. I'm starting to see our team developing our identity offensively and defensively so we're moving into the right track," aniya.
