Phoenix Pulse star Calvin "The Beast" Abueva has been suspended indefinitely by the PBA and fined P70,000 for two separate incidents recently in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup. The Beast was given a P50,000 penalty for the clothesline against TNT import Terrence Jones last Sunday that merited a flagrant foul two and P20,000 fine for a verbal altercation and obscene gestures against a fan, Bobby Ray Parks Jr.’s girlfriend Maika Rivera last Friday against Blackwater.

Tony Mitchell is finally making his PBA comeback Wednesday, looking to get NLEX out of a two-game slump as the Road Warriors tangle with the Alaska Milk Aces at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.

Mitchell has been in town for almost a week now but couldn't play in NLEX's game versus NorthPort Wednesday pending the completion of necessary documents.

Still, the Road Warriors barely lost that game, 79-83.

AFTER seeing rookie CJ Perez torched NLEX Saturday night in the PBA Commissioner's Cup, cage great Jojo Lastimosa quickly labeled the Columbian Dyip standout as a special player.

"He's a superstar in the making," quipped Lastimosa following the Road Warriors' 120-105 loss to the Dyip in the Petron Blaze Saturday Special at the Mall of Asia Arena.
