Evolve MMA bantamweight fighter Mark “Mugen” Striegl is asking for a rematch against young rising star Reece “Lightning” McLaren of Australia before facing ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes of Brazil.

In ONE Championship’s Age of Domination on December 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Striegl got a unanimous decision victory in the catchweight match against Sotir Kichukov of Bulgaria. Striegl was aggressive in the three-round fight using his speed and angles.

“Of course it is a great privilege to fight the champ Bibiano. But I want a rematch first with McLaren,” said Striegel.

While in the co-main event, Fernandes retained his title via split decision victory against McLaren, despite a nose injury he suffered in round 3 of the five-round title match.

In the main event, ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera retained his title by defeating previously unbeaten Japanese challenger Hideki Sekine, via technical knockout just minutes into the first round.
