Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is sitting out San Antonio’s game against the Lakers with an illness.
The 73-year-old Popovich apparently felt fine during his pregame media availability, but the winningest coach in NBA history then fell ill shortly before tipoff in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

De’Aaron Fox finished with 28 points, eight assists, and a +/- of 36, while Malik Monk added 26, and Harrison Barnes and Domantas Sabonis combined for 32 points and 16 rebounds. Devin Vassell, who continues to impress, led the way for the Spurs with 29.
