Rapid Recap: Bucks 125, Cavaliers 108

Not much of a shock to this one, as the Bucks trounced the Cleveland Cavaliers 125-108, earning their 18th consecutive win.

This one would begin exactly as you’d expect — with Milwaukee immediately racing out to a solid lead. Cleveland never held a lead in the opening 12 mintues. Paced by 15 points combined from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, the Bucks earned a 26-20 advantage moving into the second quarter.

Cleveland would stick to begin the second, earning their first lead for a brief amount of time. However, it’d be short-lived, as the Bucks continued to put their foot to the gas pedal and mount a double-digit lead. At half, Milwaukee held a 69-51 lead.

It would be business as usual in the final two quarters of play, with the Bucks trouncing Cleveland. At the end of three, the Bucks grew their lead to 102-79, with the Cavs never really producing much of anything. When the final buzzer came around, the Bucks would walk out of Fiserv Forum with a 125-108 victory.

Stat That Stood Out

I’m going to take a bit of an unconventional route here. In tonight’s Half Minute to Win It, the premise was to name as many Star Wars characters in 30 seconds (it was Star Wars Night at the game). We all know Brook Lopez is a Disney/Star Wars aficionado, but he definitely had more than he could handle in his contestant tonight. The fan would end up naming 36 characters compared to Brook’s 26, something nobody saw coming. I’m still in shock.
