Well, it was quite nice to have that Giannis Antetokounmpo fella back. Right from the opening tip, his presence was felt throughout Fiserv Forum. It was pretty fun to watch the Bucks play some super good basketball with him out on the court.

The closest Miami ever really got was in the first quarter, and even then, they were still down a single point at the end of the period. From there, Milwaukee wouldn’t even have to brush off their shoulder. It was pretty clear who the better team in all aspects of the game and no real sense of doubt really ever surfaced.

Six players notched double figures for the Bucks and four of them starters. Giannis Antetokounmpo would highlight the effort with 27 points, eight points, and seven rebounds. Khris Middleton had yet another strong showing, almost competing off a triple-double with his 18/8/10 slash.

No player on the Heat would pass the 20 point mark. Hassan Whiteside would finish with a team-high 14 points.

Stat That Stood Out

KHRIS MIDDLETON HAS BEEN READING YOUR TWEETS. It was another standout performance from the Bucks’ All-Star, as he flirted with a triple-double. He’d complete a stat line of 8-of-13 from the floor, knocked down a pair of threes, hauled in eight boards, and dished out 10 assists. If there’s a right time for K-Midd to catch fire, now’s a pretty good one. With Brogdon out for an extended period of team, Milwaukee needed him to step up and in the last week or so, he’s done exactly that. We all know how big of an impact he was down the stretch of last year’s season, and if this continues trending north, the Bucks will be sitting pretty good.
