The Curry 5 “Wired Different” is the first full release of Stephen Curry’s fifth signature shoe.

Stephen Curry may have struggled in Game 2 against the Houston Rockets, but on Friday, he and Under Armour dropped the latest Curry 5 sneaker. It’s the first widely available version of shoe. In March, Under Armour released 314 pairs of the “Pi Day” Curry 5 on Curry’s birthday.

The sneaker was announced through a video collaboration with YouTube tech aficionado, Marques Brownlee. In the video, Curry plays a Steve Jobs-Ted-Talky-inspired figure with a head mic while Brownlee describes the shoe on-screen. In typical Bay Area fashion, the sneaker was unveiled in the vein of a tech operating system. It’s up to the public though whether or not this “update” lives up the the widely popular Curry 4s.

The “Wired Different” colorway is made up of a white knit base with a multicolor overlay. From a distance, the sneaker looks like a piece of gray and white canvas. Given Curry’s previous ankle issues, the shoe is surprisingly low. That said, Brownlee implies that its “locked in” feel will do wonders for ankle support.

The shoes are available for $130 online and in stores. Remember, that’s half the cost of a Game 3 ticket.
