My goodness.

The Warriors and the Cavaliers are both looking at back-to-back sweeps. It’s the first time in history two teams have started 8-0 in the playoffs. Sure, the sweeps in the first round were to be expected, but both teams did it in the second round as well. And those sweeps may have been more dominant than you realized.

Cleveland swept Toronto in a quick four games, where the Raptors only led the series for 26 minutes and four seconds. This Raptors were built to take this team down yet, they could barely get a lead on them.

The Warriors? They were even more dominant. In 192 minutes, the Jazz only led for 11 minutes and 55 seconds. Amazing, really.

This means out of 384 minutes played, the Warriors and Cavaliers were trailing for a combined 38 minutes. They lead for a combined 90.1 percent of the second round.

Good luck trying to get these two teams to take the regular season more serious moving forward. The Warriors and Cavaliers are just preparing for another epic showdown in the NBA Finals and hopefully we are lucky enough to get it.
