The Rockets have led but all but 40 seconds of playing time in their two games in Utah. The Jazz are scrappy and fight to stay in games, but the story here is that Houston has their number in this series.

Clint Capela shined in Game 4, playing 37 minutes on Sunday and anchored the defense for the entire night. His 12 points, 15 rebounds, and six blocks that show on the stat sheet don’t even begin to describe what he brought for the team on both ends of the floor.

After dominant performances from Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo, plus a strong effort from the supporting cast, the series stands at 2-1.

The New Orleans Pelicans have finally garnered that elusive first playoff victory against the Golden State Warriors. After dropping the first two games of this series — and factoring in that sweep from three years ago by a Stephen Curry-led group, Friday night’s 119-100 win tasted particularly good.

There’s nothing like a Toronto Raptors Game 1 to ignite a city-wide bout of The Feelings. Tuesday’s overtime loss to the Cavs, which probably should have been a win, was an absolute wind-knocker; three days of Raptors gassing, bullish Vegas odds-makers and resounding expert proclamations that this was finally the Toronto’s year to dispose of the Cavs along with their own personal baggage, all blown away by a strange, unlikely, yet oddly reminiscent cannonball shot to the spleen.
