PBA courtside reporter Rizza Diaz loves what she’s doing on the hard court – covering the country’s premier basketball league, featuring players, analyzing game plays, among others.

“I love what I do and I really enjoy covering sports. Hosting is so much fun,” says the _23_-year-old sportscaster who is now also a news anchor for Cignal’s One News for The Big Story.

“Newscasting is something new but also was a fulfilled dream for me,” adds Rizza.

The five-season PBA courtside reporter started her love for sportscasting when she was 7 years old. She did a lot of hosting gigs in school events. One of her professors then was working freelance for an events company and then one thing led to another. Rizza auditioned for the UAAP and became part of its roster of reporters. After her UAAP stint, she covered for the NCAA and PDA D League. Rizza also had the opportunity to cover for the SEA Games and FIBA events for the national team.

Rizza literally works from Monday to Sunday but still finds herself lucky because her work time can be very flexible but it could be just as erratic. She says that time management is the biggest challenge.

Rizza takes care of herself by sleep for as long as she could, at least eight hours every night. On her free time, she goes to the gym, runs errands, visits her family, and binge watches movies and series, with a glass of wine. Rizza likes going to the spa for a scrub and massage, and for this, her go-to place is Aramesh Spa and Wellness Centre.

Aramesh Spa and Wellness Centre was established in the Philippines in 2012 by two medical practitioners, Filipino-Persian doctors Shahideh Nikbin and Farzaneh Shamsi.

The first and only Persian spa in the Philippines brought traditional Persian deep-tissue massage treatments to bring holistic well-being to their Filipino guests. The high demand for the Persian-sequenced massage service inspired Aramesh to increase in-house capacity to deliver other Persian massage techniques delivered by professional and highly trained massage therapists and practitioners.

Rizza loves Aramesh’s body scrubs and massages and regularly books the spa’s private room that has its own tub.

“You will love it! The staff is also the warmest I have ever met,” says Rizza.

Aramesh offers Full Body Massage, Express Massage, Facials, Scrubs and Body Treatments, Foot and Hand Care. Their Spa Laser procedures include Laser Hair Removal, Skin Rejuvenation And Anti-Aging, Acne Management, Non-Surgical Slimming, Skin Pigmentation and Freckle Removal, Tattoo Removal, Stretch Mark Treatment, Non-Surgical Body Contouring, Vascular Therapy, and
Skin Lightening / Smoothening.
