Wesleyan University-Philippines visits Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan to express its interest and willingness to partner on research, faculty and student exchanges, and other areas of collaboration.

WUP President Judge Benjamin Turgano (ret.) discussed with FJCU President Prof. Vincent Han-Sun Chiang how the two member institutions of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA) can work together.

Joining the productive meeting from Fu Jen were Allen Lee from the Academic Exchange Center, Dean of the Office of Education Prof. Connie Chun-Chi YANG, and Deputy Dean Prof. Mike Ming-Chieh MA; and from WUP were Director of International Linkages and Strategic Partnerships Prof. April Macan, Carolina L. Gozon Institute for Lifelong Learning Christian Jan Fausto, and University Mechanical Engineer Prince Rhomel Pillagara. The party also visited the Fu Jen Hospital.

Upon signing of an MOU, WUP will be FJCU’s first Protestant partner in the Philippines.
