Anthony Smith knocked out Shogun Rua in the UFC Hamburg main event. Shogun came in ranked #8 in the world at light heavyweight, but Smith came in 1-0 at 205 pounds, and boy did he bring the heat. Smith hurt Shogun with his punches, cracked him open with his elbow, and then knocked him out with his hands. Smith is now 2-0 at light heavyweight and just beat the #8 guy in the world. What will be next for “Lionheart?” He wants Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 227.

The UFC Hamburg weigh-ins are complete, and for the second event in a row, everyone who stepped onto the scale made weight. For the main event, light heavyweight contender Mauricio Rua used his one-pound overage allowance, coming in at 206 lbs, whereas Anthony Smith was at 205 lbs on the nose.
