It’s now been over a year since it was revealed that Jon Jones tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in his light heavyweight championship rematch with Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, but there’s still been no word on a final verdict from the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

Jones, the former light heavyweight champion, was stripped of the title and suspended indefinitely after testing positive for the anabolic steroid Turinabol. His win over Cormier was overturned to a No Contest (NC) and ‘DC’ was reinstated as the official champ.

While Jon Jones is still on the sidelines awaiting the final adjudication of his latest UFC Anti-Doping Violation, he's got a little time on his hands.

In a recent interview, he weighed in on the return of Conor McGregor, who will challenge undefeated, undisputed UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the UFC 229 main event on Oct. 6 in Las Vegas.

Most people believe that Nurmagomedov's wrestling will be far superior to that of McGregor, posing a serious threat. Jones agrees with that assessment, but not to the degree of many pundits.

In what is up there in the most bizarre of call-outs, Sage Northcutt has challenged the YouTube superstar Logan Paul to a fight inside the Octagon.

Paul, who was an accomplished high school wrestler, recently fought to a majority draw in a white-collar amateur boxing match against fellow YouTube star, KSI. The event, which streamed live on YouTube as a PPV costing viewers just short of $10, was thought to be one of the biggest boxing PPV’s of the year, with the event reportedly pulling in at least 784,000 viewers.
