UFC welterweight Diego Sanchez released a short statement following his brutal knockout defeat vs. Matt Brown.

One of the defining aspects of Diego Sanchez’s career was his ability to take insane amounts of punishment in his fights, but avoid getting knocked out. His only stoppage loss prior to the start of 2016 was the infamous cut he suffered against B.J. Penn at UFC 107 back in 2009.

After pulling out of his UFC 218 fight against champ Max Holloway, UFC featherweight contender Frankie Edgar expects to get back to full-contact training in six weeks.

Frankie Edgar’s fight-cancelling injury is only a “minor setback,” he said.

The UFC featherweight contender released a statement on Instagram less than two hours after his withdrawal from an upcoming title fight against Max Holloway at UFC 218.

Georges St-Pierre choked Michael Bisping completely unconscious to win the middleweight title at UFC 217.

The top of the UFC 217 billing saw longtime UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre make his long awaited return to action, after nearly four years on the sidelines, to choke Michael Bisping unconscious to win the UFC middleweight title. GSP had a strong start to the fight, wobbling Bisping late in the opening round, but began to slow down a bit towards the end of the secnd.
