 The top ranked UFC lightweight took to social media to propose a time and place for a fight with The Notorious One.

Moments after he was TKO’d in his pro-boxing debut by Floyd Mayweather Jr., Conor McGregor was challenged by one of his long-time UFC rivals.

On instagram, Khabib Nurmagomedov posted a picture of himself alongside McGregor with arms raised in an Octagon. The accompanying caption read “Let’s go” tagging the UFC and Dana White. The post also included a proposed time and place for the potential match-up: UFC 219 on December 30th in Las Vegas, NV.

Check out the fight card for UFC Fight Night Rotterdam on September 2nd.

With the Conor McGregor circus tent packed up, the UFC will go back to focusing on what they do best - promoting MMA fights. And that will take them to Rotterdam for a show, officially UFC Fight Night 115, next weekend. The card will be headlined by Stefan Struve, who will get to fight in his home country for the second time, and he’ll be looking for a repeat performance of his first stopover - an 18-second KO win.

Junior dos Santos was flagged by USADA. Brian Stann left the company. And of course, their homegrown star lost in a high-profile boxing match last night. With Jon Jones having failed another USADA drug test, here’s just how serious the penalties could be for the UFC light heavyweight champion.

For the second time in just over a year, Jon Jones has failed a USADA drug test. While the first instance prevented his rematch with Daniel Cormier from ever happening at UFC 200, his latest failure was announced after he’d viciously knocked Cormier out in the UFC 214 main event. Jones tested positive for turinabol, an anabolic steroid, and although he’s still technically the light heavyweight champion, there’s a pretty strong chance that he’ll be stripped of his title (again).

According to UFC lightweight Kajan Johnson, the UFC has plans in place to launch an “initiative” in October that will financially benefit fighters.

UFC fighters will apparently be presented with a new money-making opportunity come October. That’s according to Kajan Johnson, who says he spoke to UFC COO Lawrence Epstein (via a representative) earlier this week and was told the mixed martial arts organization is planning an “initiative that is going to benefit the fighters financially.”

Jon Jones has tested positive for steroids in his UFC 214 victory over Daniel Cormier . Jones tested positive for Turinabol -- an anabolic steroid.  Last 2016 tested positive for banned substances before UFC 200 and was pulled from the main event. Jones got socked with a 1 year ban.
