Four-division boxing champ Roy Jones Jr. thinks a fight with Anderson Silva would be the perfect co-headliner for a Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather card.

Jones (65-9, 47 KO) is still active, and actually won the vacant WBF cruiserweight title last weekend with an 8th-round TKO stoppage of journeyman Bobby Gunn. Gunn hadn’t fought in over three years before getting the call to fight RJJ though, so it’s not like Jones is still out there taking out top-level guys.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will return to TV in May with a guest role on an NBC show.

While Ronda Rousey’s fighting career is still very much up in the air, one of her other pursuits looks to be picking up again. Rousey made a name for herself in the acting world during her resounding success in the UFC, and she will continue on in that area with a guest starring role in NBC’s “Blindspot” in May.

Tristar head coach Firas Zahabi wants Georges St-Pierre’s return to the UFC to be a big one.

Last Friday, it was announced that former welterweight king St-Pierre had officially re-signed with the UFC, enabling his return to MMA competition after staying away from the sport for more than three years. St-Pierre left MMA after successfully defending his UFC welterweight title for a ninth consecutive time against Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 back in 2013. The Canadian walked away on a 12-fight winning streak and with an impressive record of 25-2.
