Bisping looking to make amends with Masvidal at UFC London: ‘Can we just end this bullsh-t?’

Michael Bisping will be in attendance for UFC London this weekend, where Jorge Masvidal will take on hometown favorite Darren Till in the main event.

Bisping and Masvidal haven’t exactly been on the best terms for the last two years, and ‘The Count’ is looking to have a one-to-one with ‘Gamebred’ in hopes of making amends.

Masvidal has been calling for a grudge match with Bisping ever since the Brit ripped up a picture of the Cuban flag at UFC 213, where Masvidal’s teammate and fellow Cuban, Yoel Romero, dropped a decision loss to Robert Whittaker in the main event.

Speaking on a recent episode of Believe You Me, however, podcast host Bisping said he has no idea why Masvidal is giving him such a hard time.

“I hope I see him in London. I hope I see him in London so I can just walk over and say, ‘Hey, listen, can we just end this bullsh*t?’ Because as I’ve said, I don’t know the guy! I don’t know him and he doesn’t know me,” Bisping said, per MMA Fighting’s Jed Meshew.

“I’m not against Masvidal anymore. I’ve got no issue with him. I never had. Let’s see how he behaves in London. Now that I’m with ESPN and not Fox, when we used to travel to the arenas for Fox, Fox always put us up in a separate hotel - a very, very nice, five-star bougie hotel I might add. Now we’re in UFC hotel, so we’re surrounded by all the fighters and stuff like that. So no doubt I’ll be seeing him around fight week. So let’s see how all that goes. If there’s another interaction, if he’s trying to start a fight with me in the lobby like he did in New York, and in Shanghai, and in London. [But] I think that ship has sailed.”

Bisping retired from MMA competition last year, but the former UFC middleweight champion is still a prominent figure in the mixed martial arts community. The 40-year-old recently secured a commentating gig for ESPN, after years of work as a professional analyst for FOX Sports.

UFC Fight Night: Till vs. Masvidal takes place this coming Saturday, March 16 at the O2 Arena in London, England.
