Amanda Nunes prefers to fight Ronda Rousey, would gladly whoop Julianna Pena in her place

Why is Amanda Nunes in such a hurry to fight Ronda Rousey?

Probably because the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion, who captured the crown by submitting Miesha Tate at UFC 200 last month in Las Vegas, Nevada, was unimpressed with what the rest of the division has to offer, including top contender Julianna Pena.

From the UFC 201 fan Q&A (via FOX Sports):

"I've been training jiu-jitsu since I started. Jiu-jitsu and judo both together. I know how to block very well judo throws, I know how to use my hips very well. I know if Ronda Rousey is coming back, I'm going to keep the championship. But we have a couple of girls in line right now — Julianna Pena, Valentina Shevchenko, and if Ronda's not coming back, I'll take Julianna Pena. It's no problem."

Shevchenko might have something to say about that.

The women's bantamweight division is currently on hold until Rousey -- still considered one of the biggest stars in all of mixed martial arts (MMA) -- decides on her UFC return date. "Rowdy" hasn't been seen since Holly Holm smashed her at UFC 193 in Australia.

Who do you, as a fan, want to see Nunes fight next?
