Johny Hendricks vs. Paulo Borrachinha added to UFC 217

Former champion Johny Hendricks meets Paulo Borrachinha in November.

Johny Hendricks continues his middleweight venture as Combate reports that the former welterweight champion meets up-and-coming Paulo Borrachinha at UFC 217, in New York City.

Hendricks (18-7, 13-7 UFC) has only won one of his last five bouts, having been defeated by the likes of Stephen Thompson, Kelvin Gastelum, Neil Magny and most recently, Tim Boetsch, in June. His latest win came in February, when he defeated Hector Lombard by unanimous decision.

Undefeated Borrachinha (10-0, 2-0 UFC) comes into the fight following two TKO wins in his UFC career, over Garreth McLellan and Oluwale Bamgbose, in his last outing in June. Borrachinha won all but one of his fights by KO in his entire professional career.

Johny Hendricks meets Paulo Borrachinha at UFC 217, in New York City, on November 4. The event will be headlined by a super fight between middleweight champion, Michael Bisping and former welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre.
