Michael Bisping 'sick of the bulls—t', will fight winner of Romero-Whittaker if GSP doesn't 'man up'

Bisping is losing his patience with Georges St-Pierre and says he is willing to fight the winner of Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker at UFC 213.

Michael Bisping is just about fed up of the situation with Georges St-Pierre and the other middleweight contenders.

Bisping, the current UFC middleweight champion, was expected to defend his title against St-Pierre in August, but UFC president Dana White called off the fight due to complications with the date (GSP allegedly wanted to fight in the fall and claims the UFC knew he wasn't ready for August).

Yesterday, White confirmed that Bisping would face the winner of the interim middleweight title bout between Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker at UFC 213, with no mention of a potential fight against 'Rush'.

'The Count' expressed on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour, however, that he's still interested in defending his strap against St-Pierre but is 'sick of the bulls—t'. Bisping is willing to fight the winner of Romero-Whittaker if GSP doesn't 'man up'.

“I was supposed to fight GSP. Why wouldn’t I want to fight him? Of course, that would be big business,” Bisping said, per Peter Carroll of MMA Fighting. “He’s a guy that will be regarded as a welterweight legend forever. I would love that fight for my legacy. We’ve been over this a million times.

“I’m sick of everyone saying I don’t want to fight. Honestly, who I fight next? I couldn’t give a shit. I really couldn’t. Whether it’s GSP, whether it’s Yoel, whether it’s Whittaker. … I’m sick of all the bulls**t.

“Georges, man up! Make the call. I know you have some issues, but call the man, call Dana White."

Bisping, who is currently nursing a knee injury, told the former welterweight champ to make the fight happen by Saturday or forfeit his title shot.

“Georges, if you’re watching, which I know you are because you want to know what I’m saying,” Bisping said, “you’ve got until Saturday, because on Saturday I’m going to be on the FS1 post-fight show. Tune in, because one of those (fighters), Yoel Romero or Robert Whittaker, will be joining me on the desk.

“If I can’t say I’m fighting GSP by then, then I have to say I’m going to fight Whittaker or Romero. I can’t be a little bitch about it. Basically, the countdown is on.”

UFC 213, which features Romero vs. Whittaker in the co-main event, takes place this Saturday, July 8 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
