Amanda Nunes 'not at all' impressed by Pena's UFC 200 performance

Amanda Nunes doesn't really see Julianna Pena as a threat to her belt as she believes the TUF 18 champ doesn't know how to finish a fight.

On the same night Amanda Nunes brutally finished Miesha Tate to become the new UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Julianna Pena scored the biggest win of her career.

On the the preliminary portion of UFC 200, she defeated Cat Zingano by unanimous decision, bringing her UFC record to an unbeaten 4-0 and putting her in direct line for a title shot.

Although Pena beat the only woman to ever defeat Nunes in the Octagon, the new champion told MMA Hour that she was not impressed by The Venezuelan Vixen's performance.

"I watched her fight. It didn't impress me at all. I wasn't impressed by her performance. I congratulate her for beating Cat, but I know I'll be the champion for a long time. Whoever comes next, be it Ronda, Julianna, I'll be ready."

"She didn't go into that fight to finish it.Julianna took too long and Cat gave her plenty of openings to finish the fight, but she doesn't know how to seize those moments. That was her mistake and that's why I'm not impressed. She doesn't see the moment to finish the fight."

No word yet on who the next title challenger will be. Ronda Rousey has been teasing a comeback, with Dana White saying she’d step right into the title picture once she returns, but without a firm date on the table, the next challenger is anyone’s guess.
