The co-main event for UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Hunt witnessed the #8 middleweight Derek Brunson run through the #15 ranked middleweight Daniel Kelly in front of the Auckland crowd. Brunson started with a patient approach, opposed to his usual berzerker style, and when he saw his opening, Brunson uncorked a thumping left cross that sent Kelly crashing to the canvas.

Brunson followed up with some academic ground strikes, and the referee stepped in to rescue Kelly.
