Nick Diaz to Conor McGregor: ‘I was already a two-weight world champion, b*tch’

Nick Diaz had something to say about Conor McGregor’s recent win at UFC 205.

UFC 205 was a historic event for both the company and Conor McGregor. While it was another record breaking night for Dana White, Ari Emmanuel and the rest of top management, “The Notorious” became the UFC’s first ever simultaneous two-weight world champion.

Expectedly, McGregor threw an after party in celebration of his rare accomplishment. Held at the 1 Oak Night Club in Manhattan, the newly-minted champion was amongst friends, family, and fans, where also went up on stage to thank them for the support. At the same time McGregor also went to take shots at Floyd Mayweather, who recently made strong statements against comparisons between them.

Unbeknownst to many at the club that night, Nick Diaz was actually in attendance. And in the middle of McGregor’s speech, the former Strikeforce welterweight champion was on Snapchat, filming himself. In the said video, Diaz also had a short but concise message for the Irishman.

“I was already a two-weight world champion, bitch,” Diaz said.

His younger brother Nate is being favored by McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh to be the next possible contender for the 155-pound title.
