Dustin Poirier might be the most underrated fighter in the UFC lightweight division.

‘The Diamond’ is on a three-fight win streak against three former champions and feels he’s being overlooked by the UFC.

It’s been over six months since Poirier dismantled Eddie Alvarez at UFC on Fox 30, and the Louisianan is itching to get back into the Octagon.

Growing increasingly impatient with the UFC, Poirier posted a series of Tweets on Sunday evening expressing his urgent desire for a title shot.

If the UFC doesn’t comply, the 30-year-old has has demanded a fight against another top contender, calling out the likes of Tony Ferguson, Conor McGregor and Max Holloway.

Poirier then accused ‘Raging Al’ Iaquinta of ducking him, and tried to lure the New York-based real estate agent into a fight at UFC 236.

Al Iaquinta didn’t take the bait, instead hilariously offering Poirier a three-bedroom property.

Although Poirier is undoubtedly one of the top contenders in the division, the American Top Team standout is unlikely to get the next title shot. Poirier could, however, secure a top contenders bout against Tony Ferguson or Max Holloway.

With reigning champion Khabib Nurmagomedov out of action for the foreseeable future, and Conor McGreogr seemingly interested in a scrap with Donald Cerrone, Poirier could very well go on to face either ‘El Cucuy’ or ‘Blessed’ in his next bout.
