Conor McGregor issues a response to Floyd Mayweather’s offer to train at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas.

A little over a year ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor fought each other in a highly-publicized boxing match. As expected by many, it was Mayweather who ended up winning via TKO, his first stoppage win in six years.

From his end, Mayweather has shown to have buried the hatchet in terms of their rivalry and incendiary trash talk during the build-up of the fight. He even invited “The Notorious” to train at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas for the upcoming fight against Khabib Nurmagomedovat UFC 229.

“Leading up to the fight when McGregor gets to Las Vegas, I know the UFC got a training facility, but we’d like for him to workout at the Mayweather Boxing Club,” Floyd Jr. told TMZ Sports, while also praising his former rival for “not backing down” and “not being a scared fighter at all.”

Apparently, things aren’t all well just yet from McGregor’s side of things, at least based on his tweet which is seemingly in response to Mayweather’s offer.

“F—k the Mayweathers, except Senior and Roger. There is no peace here kid. Step up or step down,” the tweet read.

UFC 229 takes place on October 6th in Las Vegas. Mayweather says he may talk to both McGregor and UFC president Dana White for tickets.
