It didn’t take long for Fabricio Werdum to defeat late-notice replacement Walt Harris.

Fabricio Werdum picked up a quick armbar submission over short notice opponent Walt Harris, at just over a minute into the opening round. Why was this fight on short notice? Well, Werdum was originally scheduled to face Derrick Lewis and Harris was scheduled to battle it out with Mark Godbeer, but with a strange twist of fate, Lewis pulled out of his fight due to injury, and Harris stepped up to fight Werdum.

Main Card:

Fabricio Werdum def. Walt Harris by Submission (RNC) at 1:05 of round 1: Heavyweight

Werdum attacked a takedown in the first 30 seconds of the fight, and seamlessly transitioned into full mount. Harris exposed his back, and Werdum capitalized with a RNC attempt turned arm bar, and Harris had no choice but to tap. Werdum did what Werdum does, but credit to Walt Harris for stepping in on short notice and replacing Derrick Lewis.
