The UFC rounds out its May schedule with a special Sunday (May 28th) event at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. In the main event, Sweden’s own Alexander Gustafsson takes on fellow light heavyweight contender Glover Teixeira. Light heavyweights also comprise the co-main, as Misha Cirkunov battles Volkan Oezdemir.
For the Bloody Elbow community, the REAL main event is Ben Saunders against Peter Sobotta. “WAR KILLA B!” will definitely be uttered many times next week.
There are a couple of late changes to this event: Emil Weber Meek is out, so Oliver Enkamp is replacing him against Nordine Taleb. On the prelims, Reza Medadi is filling in for Mairbek Taisumov against Joaquim Silva.
