WWE’s Stephanie McMahon is open to offering Rousey a more regular fixture in the promotion.

Ronda Rousey’s future in the UFC is a question mark. After losing her prized bantamweight title to Holly Holm last year, the Olympic bronze medalist has been largely absent from the media.

In fact, it’s being reported that ‘Rowdy’ may avoid the press altogether in the lead up to her UFC 207 bout with current 145 lbs champion Amanda Nunes on Dec. 30.

The former champion also claimed to be ‘wrapping it up’ in the near-future and hinted that the Nunes fight may be one of her last appearances in the Octagon.

"I'm wrapping it up," Rousey told TV host Ellen DeGeneres in November. "This is definitely one of my last fights. So everyone better watch. The show isn't going to be around forever."

Win or lose at UFC 207, WWE chief brand officer and television personality Stephanie McMahon said the Sports Entertainment promotion would welcome her with ‘open arms’.

“Our fans love Ronda,” McMahon told USA Today on Wednesday. “Ronda has this cross platform appeal in terms of all forms of entertainment. We would welcome her with open arms. She is the total package.”

Rousey, 29, sent WWE fans into a frenzy when she entered the ring at Wrestlemania 31 last year. The Glendale Fighting Club representative judo tossed Triple H and applied a standing arm lock to McMahon.

“It was like a dream come true to take part in WrestleMania,” Rousey said. “It was such a special atmosphere, something I have loved since I was a kid.”

Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, said the WWE has been in talks with Rousey about the future.

Without any featured interviews on her upcoming bout with Nunes, it’s hard to gauge Rousey’s true motives. The championship bout will headline the highly anticipated UFC 207 pay-per-view, which features a stacked card of champions and former champions. The event takes place on December 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
