ONE Championship, one of the world’s largest mixed martial arts promotions, has threatened legal action following a controversial Facebook post.
On Saturday, UFC and Pancrase veteran Will Chope (38-15) authored a two-paragraph Facebook post regarding ONE Championship and ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong’s January announcement that the promotion would introduce “WADA testing” in 2019.

The bout will take place at ONE: DAWN OF HEROES, set for 2 August at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. McLaren steps in for Kairat Akhmetov, who had to withdraw from the tournament due to injury.

ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY played host to a world-class martial arts spectacle. In the main event, kickboxing superstar Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan of Italy put together a comprehensive performance, defeating opponent Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy of Thailand by unanimous decision after three rounds.
Former ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard “Landslide” Folayang will share the stage with American mixed martial arts legend Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez when the two square off in the main event of ONE: DAWN OF HEROES on August 2 in Manila.
Folayang, who has dreamed of a bout with Alvarez ever since “The Underground King” signed with ONE Championship last year, says he is ready for an intense battle with his American counterpart.
AN already-stacked Manila card in August of ONE Championship got loaded some more with recent additions and changes made by the promotion this week.
Singapore-based martial arts promotion ONE Championship recently touched base with their partners and potential investors in the Philippines during the ONE:NXT Philippines event in partnership with ABS-CBN last Thursday, 27 June at the Shangri-La at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
