After both men tested positive for estrogen blockers, neither Brock Lesnar or Jon Jones will be fined by the UFC.

It appears that both Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones tested positive for the same banned substance.

It was reported on Tuesday that Lesnar, who failed in and out-of-competition drug tests in the lead up to UFC 200, tested positive for the same anti-estrogen agent as 'Bones'.

MMA Fighting confirmed the news yesterday, revealing that Lesnar flagged for hydroxy-clomiphene, while Jones also tested positive for Letrozole.

What's also been confirmed, is that neither Lesnar or Jones will face fines from the UFC. Jones, whose failed drug test stems from an out-of-competition sample conducted by the USADA on June 16, was pulled from his UFC 200 main event slot with Daniel Cormier. Lesnar's results, which stemmed from a test on June 28, didn't come back until after he beat Mark Hunt via unanimous decision in the co-main event. The WWE superstar is reported to have made $2.5 million from the fight alone, the highest ever pay cheque from the UFC.

MMA Fighting confirmed that the UFC will not be fining any athletes found guilty of using performance-enhancing drugs, but both Lesnar and Jones could face disciplinary action from the Nevada Athletic Commission. Lesnar could see a portion of his $2.5 mil purse deducted along with a suspension, while Jones is also subject to similar treatment. The United States Anti-Doping Agency are also capable of suspending both athletes.

Last week, fan favorite Mark Hunt demanded to receive half of Lesnar's purse or threatened to leave the UFC. It's highly unlikely that the UFC will change their stance, but Lesnar could face a serious financial penalty from the NAC.

Both Lesnar and Jones await disciplinary hearings from the NAC and USADA, which will take place in the coming months. Bloody Elbow will keep you updated on any further developments.
