The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world, keeps the action going with Week 6 of the 2023 PFL Challenger Series, which gives mixed martial artists from around the world an opportunity at a life-changing PFL contract. A PFL contract brings athletes a step closer to becoming PFL Champion and a million-dollar payday.

The 2023 PFL Challenger Series takes place in the backlot of Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and viewers can watch on Fubo Sports beginning at 9PM ET. The PFL Challenger Series is an eight-part competition which will stream exclusively on Fubo Sports, the live, free-to-consumer TV network from FuboTV Inc. (NYSE: FUBO), the leading sports-first live TV streaming platform.

Week 6 of the PFL Challenger Series features fighters in the Featherweight division, with Mexico’s Brahyan Zurcher taking on David Evans of the United States in the main event.

BOUT #4 - Brahyan Zurcher (4-0) vs. David Evans (5-1)
A native of Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco, Mexico, undefeated Brahyan Zurcher is no stranger to the PFL Challenger Series. Last year, Zurcher defeated Scottie Stockman but came up short of the prized PFL contract. Tonight, the Xtreme Couture representative looks to remain undefeated and finish what he started last year.

St. Louis, Missouri’s David Evans has been competing in MMA since 2013, compiling an extensive 12-6 record as an amateur before making the jump to the professional ranks in 2019. Since then, Evans has won all but one of his six professional bouts, including three by first-round finish. Tonight, Evans targets the biggest win of his career, which could lead to an even bigger opportunity in the PFL.

BOUT #3 - Nathan Kelly (6-2) vs. Zack Hicks (8-4)
Finglas, Ireland’s Nathan Kelly has reeled off six consecutive victories, including five by way of stoppage. Tonight, the SBG Ireland product and teammate of MMA star Conor McGregor targets his seventh win in a row and a ticket to the PFL’s million-dollar Regular Season.

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Zack Hicks began his MMA journey at the age of 19 when he first competed as an amateur. In 2014, Hicks turned pro and has since put together a solid 8-4 record with five of his wins coming by way of submission. Tonight, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt looks to earn a spot on the PFL’s Regular Season roster.

BOUT #2 - Ago Huskic (8-5) vs. Gabriel Braga (8-0)
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ago “The Bosnian Dragon” Huskic competed in last year’s PFL Regular Season, falling to eventual Featherweight champion Brendan Loughnane. Tonight, Huskic hopes to make it back onto the million-dollar regular season roster.

Undefeated in eight professional contests, Brazil’s Gabriel Braga competes in the United States for the first time in his MMA career tonight. With a PFL contract in reach, Braga looks to pick up his fifth knockout victory and keep his perfect record intact.

BOUT #1 - Vikas Singh Ruhil (12-6) vs. James Gonzalez (9-5)
Delhi, India’s submission specialist Vikas “Gabbar” Singh Runil will make history tonight as the first fighter from India to compete inside the PFL SmartCage. The winningest fighter on tonight’s card, Singh Runil will look to make even more history by becoming the first Indian fighter to compete on the PFL’s million-dollar Regular Season.

A native of New York, James “Alley Cat” Gonzalez comes into tonight’s opening bout with four of his nine wins coming by way of stoppage. The former CFFC and Ring of Combat Featherweight champion will look to move one step closer to adding the PFL Championship to his trophy case by picking up a win and earning a PFL contract.
