The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world, capped off its 2021 season with the PFL World Championship tonight at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

In the main event, MMA star Kayla Harrison earned her second PFL world title by defeating Taylor Guardado by second round submission via armbar.

In the co-main event of the evening, Ray Cooper III and Magomed Magomedkerimov faced off in a highly anticipated rematch for the Welterweight title, with Cooper III emerging victorious with a third round KO.

In a Women’s Lightweight showcase bout featuring two-time Olympic boxing gold medalist Claressa Shields and unbeaten Abigail Montes, the upstart Mexican fighter won her United States and PFL debut by razor thin split decision.

The Heavyweight division saw a hard fought clash between Bruno Cappelozza and Ante Delija. The fight went the full five rounds and ultimately Cappelozza was crowned PFL Heavyweight champion for the first time by unanimous decision.

Movlid Khaybulaev and Chris Wade fought the five-round distance with Khaybualaev taking the Featherweight crown via unanimous decision.

In an impressive performance, Antonio Carlos Jr. defeated Marthin Hamlet for the Light Heavyweight crown, winning by 1st round submission and becoming the second fighter of the night to win a $1 million dollar prize.

The first of six world championship bouts saw Loik Radzhabov square off against Raush Manfio in the Lightweight division. In a grueling five round matchup, Manfio earned the victory via unanimous decision.
