MANILA: The Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte discouraged his friend Manny Pacquiao, senator and world boxing champion, for running as presidential candidate in 2022, after his own term ends.

"Politicians should think about it carefully. Manny, I think Manny is entertaining, well it's good... Getting tired is the only thing you get from this work," Duterte said on Monday night at an event.

WBA/IBF bantamweight world champion Naoya “Monster” Inoue, a 5-foot-4½ three-weight world champion who has climbed the pound-for-pound rankings with devastating knockouts against normally iron-chinned foes, is coming to America.

Inoue has signed a multi-year promotional agreement with Top Rank, which will co-promote his bouts with Ohashi Promotions on the ESPN family of networks. His first fight under this new, landmark agreement will take place in the United States in early 2020.

It has not been confirmed yet, but there seems to be a good chance heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte will return to the ring for the first time since his failed drugs test on the upcoming December 7 card in Saudi Arabia. Eddie Hearn, speaking at Saturday’s heavily hyped YouTuber fight between KSI and Logan Paul, suggested that with the forced postponement of the Jono Carrol-Scott Quigg fight (due to an elbow injury suffered in training by Quigg) it could be Whyte who gets a slot on the card instead.

KSI out-hustled Logan Paul in defeating him by a six round split decision in their celebrity match involving two huge Youtube stars on Saturday night on DAZN at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Both cruiserweight were making their debut tonight. KSI (1-0) wanted it more, and was willing to let his hands go. The scores were 56-55 for Paul, and 57-54, 56-55 KSI.
