Ryan Garcia says Canelo Alvarez will knockout IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant for him disrespecting him during their press conference on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Plant (21-0, 12 KOs) called the former four-division world champion Canelo (56-1-2, 38 KOs) a “drug cheat” and a “mother-f****,” and it led to a brawl.

Caleb Plant suffered a cut on his right cheek after Canelo Alvarez slugged him with a bare fist during Tuesday’s press conference in Los Angeles for their fight on November 6th.
Canelo says he didn’t like Plant calling him a “mother f****” during their face-off, so he shoved him really hard. Moments later, Canelo punched him with a right hand to the head.

WBA/WBC/WBO super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez vs. IBF champion Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant was announced on Monday for November 6th on Showtime pay-per-view at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The fight will decide who is the #1 guy at 168, as the winner will be the undisputed champion in the division.

In a pointless move, the WBC has ordered Joseph ‘Jo Jo’ Diaz Jr. to defend his interim lightweight title against #2 Ryan Garcia next.

Ryan (21-0, 18 KOs) and Jo Jo Diaz Jr. (32-1-1, 15 KOs) were already in negotiations for a fight, so the World Boxing Council’s decision to order the fight is meaningless because it’s already going to happen.

Andre Ward says he has no rivalry with Canelo Alvarez, and the reason he’s helping Caleb Plant is that he’s a friend. Ward says he doesn’t have a personal beef with Canelo (56-1-2, 38 KOs).

Andre maintains that he views Plant (21-0, 12 KOs) as a “brother,” and he doesn’t see any reason why he wouldn’t help him to get for the Canelo fight.

Tyson Fury’s snarling dad John Fury is predicting that he’s going to send Deontay Wilder into retirement on October 9th after he knocks him out in their trilogy match at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

John has got his mind made up that what Fury did last time he fought Wilder, he’ll be able to do the same on October 9th. The two fighters should be 1-1 at this point, as Wilder knocked Fury out in the 12th round in their first fight in 2018.

Hopefully, Thurman isn’t injured yet again while getting in shape. He’s missed enough time as it is and can’t afford another two years of him sitting on the couch, licking his battle wounds, ruminating about it.
