LAS VEGAS via ANAGEN - Veteran sports and lifestyle reporter Robbie Pangilinan and Sportsmanila Canada senior photographer Christian Cunanan will cover the highly anticipated WBO Welterweight Title bout between eight-division World Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao and World Boxing Organization Welterweight Champion Jessie Vargas , on November 5, 2016 at Thomas & Mack Center, Paradise, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pangilinan and Cunanan arrived in Las Vegas Monday afternoon on a flight from Bellingham to Las Vegas. They came two hours ahead of the entourage of the People’s Champ and Pacquiao himself, who went straight to Wynn Hotel.
Cunanan, a native of Pampanga, has been residing in Canada for the last 25 years. He is a businessman who owns a solar projects in Canada. He also opened Sportsmanila in Canada.
“Photography used to just be my hobby. I never imagined I will be in this place. I am so grateful to Sportsmanila for the authority to operate Sportsmanila here in Canada,” says Cunanan.
Sportsmanila is top billed with seasoned and trusted writers and photographers from Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond and North Vancouver. The team members are chosen and screened by the partners of Sportsmanila all over the world.
“This will be the first international coverage for Sportsmanila Canada and we are excited,” adds Cunanan.
