More than a month after winning the world championship for 2nd time and ้has a long cerebration, our miracle boxing champion, Srisalet Nakornluang Promotion (aka, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai) returns to train at Nakornluang Boxing Gym in Nonthaburi, Thailand around a week ago. Because he knows WBC ordered a direct rematch with former 4 divisions world champion “Chocolatito” Roman Gonzalez of Nicaragua due very close majority decision in his last fight that he recaptured the WBC Super Flyweight world champion at MSG in New York.

Even if Gonzalez is planning to visit his official representative and co-manager, Mr. Akihiko Honda in Japan around next week to talk about a rematch fight with the Thai and probably start training at Teiken Gym in Japan, but they are not confirm the approximate rematch date now. According to many internet sources this fight may happen in the US around this September. Therefore the Thai promoter is planning to request an optional defending fight for Srisaket in his home town earlier than that to WBC.

The latest news World Boxing Council will be handed over WBC Supper Flyweight World Champion belt to the Thai fighter on Wednesday, May 24, a part of WBC Asia (Asian Boxing Council; ABCO) annual general meeting, at Kingthong convention hall of Asia Hotel Bangkok in May 24, 2017. There will be many former Thai world champions of WBC in the event, such as Chatchai Sasakul, Muangchai Kittikasem, and Saman Sor Jaturong.
