Dereck Chisora made Dillian Whye an absurd offer of 5 million for a fight on December 22. The two heavyweights are trying to negotiate a rematch for Sky Box Office PPV. Whyte (24-1, 17 KOs) beat Chisora by a 12 round split decision close to two years ago in December 2016.

It’s unknown if the 34-year-old Chisora has the £5m to give Whyte. Chisora wants to send Whyte into retirement. It would be a tough pill for Whyte to swallow if he loses the December 22 fight to Chisora because he’ll miss out on a rematch with Anthony Joshua on April 13.

WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez has reportedly tested positive for a banned substance benzoylecgonin, which an ingredient in the illegal drug cocaine. WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman broke the news about Benavidez’s positive test on Tuesday.

The positive test came from a urine sample collected on August 27 according to ESPN. Benavidez has the option of having his B-sample tested.

Berchelt (34-1, 30 KOs), from, Cancun, Mexico, is the 26-year-old champion looking to make his fourth successful title defense. Roman (60-12, 47 KOs), from Juarez, Mexico, is a 32-year-old who will be making his third attempt at a world title.

Welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr (24-0, 21 KOs). says he wants to fight Saul Canelo Alvarez in the near future, and he’s predicting a victory for him over IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs) this Saturday.

Spence will move up two weight divisions to fight Canelo when the time comes for them to face each other. Golden Boy Promotions executive Bernard Hopkins likes the idea that Spence wants to fight Canelo, because this means that he thinks that he’s going to beat Golovkin on Saturday. Hopkins doesn’t need to speculate whether Spence thinks Canelo will beat Golovkin, because he openly admits it.

AFTER Filipino boxing superstar and eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao threatened to hail them to court over unremitted share of the United States broadcast proceeds from his most recent fight, promoter Bob Arum and his Top Rank Promotions said the issue is now being resolved by both parties.

Speaking to ESPN on Tuesday (US time), Mr. Arum said their people have already reached out to Mr. Pacquiao’s group and that resolution on the issue is on sight.

Golovkin has been letting Canelo have it with his comments about his 2 positive tests for clenbuterol, and it’s succeeded in angering him to the point where he wants to take it out on him on Saturday night in their second fight on HBO pay-per-view at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

FRESNO, Calif. (Sept. 11, 2018) – The time is finally here for Jose Ramirez, who will make the first defense of his WBC super lightweight world title against top contender Antonio Orozco on Friday at the Save Mart Center. Ramirez (22-0, 16 KOs) was supposed to defend his title at the Save Mart Center on July 7, but the bout was canceled when Danny O'Connor was hospitalized for dehydration before the weigh-in. Orozco (27-0, 17 KOs) represents his toughest test to date.
