AFTER hosting numerous local and International billiards tournament, Senator Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao, the former eight-division world champion and an avid billiards benefactor,
is hosting an event at the famous Star Billiard Center in 46 Joy Street, Grace Village, Quezon City.
KUALA LUMPUR – Carlo Biado isn’t taking full credit for his golden performance in the billiards competition of the 29th Southeast Asian Games.
He also owes his mentors – legendary cue artists Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante – for teaching him the tricks of the trade.
A champion of the World Games in Poland in July, Biado continued his winning ways when he demolished Nguyen Anh Tuan of Vietnam in the men’s singles 9-balls event to collect his second gold medal in the biennial meet.
Filipino ace Carlo Biado defeated Great Britain’s Jayson Shaw, 11-7, in the 9-ball men's pool finals to pocketed the country's first-ever gold medal in the quadrennial World Games in Wroclaw, Poland on Saturday (Sunday morning in Manila).
