Inihayag  Jeremy  Lin nitong Martes na hindi siya maglalaro para sa  Beijing Ducks sa nalalapit na 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season.

"I want to tell you that I've decided not to return to the Beijing Ducks this year. It is the toughest decision that I've made in my life," sabi ni Lin sa nai-post niyang video sa Chinese social network na Weibo.


Sa kanyang  43 appearances para sa  Beijing ng 2019-20 season, si Lin ay nag-averaged  ng 22.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists at 1.9 steals, pinamunuan ang team tungo sa huling apat bago sila natanggal ng eventual champions na Guangdong Southern Tigers.


"Over the past two to three weeks, I found it pretty hard to fall asleep and woke up around four or five o'clock in the morning, thinking it over and over again," pag -amin ni Lin. "Teammates, coaches and management in Beijing, they are quite nice to me, but I still have a dream of playing in the NBA."
"As for the fans, no matter when I get injured, traded or defeated, you always support me, which gives me great belief," dagdag pa niya .


Ani Lin, nang sabihin niya sa miyembro ng kanyang  pamilya at kaibigan nung Lunes na kailangan niyang umalis sa  China para muling makapaglarong muli sa NBA, "I cried."
"This year is a special year. Playing with the Beijing Ducks for one year, I will never forget that I see these supporters every day, which makes me so touched. Thank you all. I love you," diin ni Lin.


Sa pahayag, sinabi ng Beijing Ducks na ang club ay napanatili ang magandang komunikasyon kay Lin at sa mga mahahalagang partido at nagkaroon ng kasunduan na palawigin ang kontrata ni Lin bago magdesisyon ang California-born star's na mag-alsa balutan.
