The Los Angeles Lakers were choke by the Toronto Raptors, 107-92.

The Raptors pounced on the Lakers — The Clippers 103-101 in their opener two nights earlier — taking a 13-0 lead. But the Lakers replied and Toronto led just 23-21 to end the first quarter.

Los Angeles took its first lead of the game early in the second, then took a 44-41 lead into the halftime break in the low-scoring game between the league's top two defensive teams.

Kyle Lowry one of his best games of his life chip in with 33 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. In doing so, he helped the Raptors play spoilers not only for the Lakers, but for their rival Milwaukee Bucks. Both teams would have clinched the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences had the Lakers won. But alas, both sides will have to wait to clinch their places atop the standings.

Anunoby  finished with 23 points on 8-for-9 shooting, perfect from behind the arc, while also pouring in four rebounds and an assist.  Anthony Davis held to just 14 points on two-from-seven shooting. LeBron James, had 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Kyle Kuzma added 16 points.
