It seems Mickey Gall has a lot of plans for Sage Northcutt and none of them sound like they’ll be good for Sage.

Mickey Gall may be preaching the gospel of love inside the Octagon, but that doesn’t mean he’s not prepared to cut a promo all over the UFC’s golden boy. Gall is getting geared up to fight Sage Northcutt at UFC on Fox 22 this coming December, and there’s nothing like an upcoming fight to make a man shelve his feelings of brotherly care and let fans know that he’s ready to scrap.

Gall recently spoke to TMZ Sports about his upcoming bout with Northcutt, and he sounds like he’s got a lot of plans for “Super” Sage (transcript via MMA Fighting):

"I'm gonna do a lot to him,” Gall said. “I don't see this one being one round. I see this being longer than that and I'm gonna break his bones. I'm gonna hurt him bad. I'm gonna bust him up, break his bones, tear things. I'm gonna put a beating on him...His boxing sucks. His ground game is pretty bad. So there's holes on both sides. I know how I'm gonna fight him. It's gonna be bad for him. He's gonna feel like crap."

...

"I don't dislike him,” Gall continued when asked if his comments meant he disliked Sage. “I think he's very corny. I think he's like a silly boy. I don't know, I think he's kind of a dork but I don't hate him at all. I love him. I can't wait to fight him, can't wait to get my hands on him."

Gall also said that while he hadn’t actually gotten word of the idea of making his bout against Sage a “hair match” he’d be totally willing to shave his head if he lost. “But I ain’t losing,” he added. “You can see a bald blonde boy.”

UFC on Fox 22 is scheduled for December 17th. Northcutt vs. Gall is planned as a welterweight bout and is, to date, the only fight scheduled for the card. Stay tuned to Bloody Elbow for more news and updates as the event draws near.
