Maybe you should have a seat, stop talking for awhile Jae.

Well friends, there’s still plenty of reason to watch Phoenix Suns basketball.

By now you are aware of the historic performance Devin Booker turned in tonight. He scored 70 points in a 130-120 loss to the Boston Celtics. If you didn’t watch the game, you probably read about it in a tweet, something like “Devin Booker can’t buy a gin and tonic yet.”

After the game, former Suns guard Isaiah Thomas was a little irritated with the Phoenix effort to help Booker fill the stat sheet.

"I don't think anybody's ever seen that," Thomas said. "To continue to call timeouts, continue to foul when we're up 15. But it was obvious what they were trying to do. They were trying to get him the most points possible. And hat off to him, though. He played a hell of a game."

Ok, that’s fair. I mean, I don’t have any problem with what Phoenix or Booker was doing, but I also don’t have a problem with the way Thomas expressed himself post-game. He’s right. “It is what it is.”

He didn’t have to say anything. He wasn’t being interviewed. He went out of his way to call out Devin Booker and got punked one more time before the night was over. Call it a night, pal. Try again tomorrow.

20 years old. Future of the franchise. More of this, please. All of this.
