D'Angelo Russell has played in all 22 games so far this season and entered the matchup with averages of 16.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per contest while shooting 47.9% from the field and 40.5% from the three-point range. 

The Lakers are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 13-9 record in their first 22 games.
