Bamba Inks Deal with Sixers

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a quiet couple of days ever since they made a slew of signings immediately when free agency started. They pretty much addressed all the necessary areas of their roster but all that was left was another big man besides superstar Anthony Davis and former lottery pick Jaxson Hayes.

Mo Bamba was viewed as someone that could impact the game on both ends of the floor due to him standing at 7'0 and boasting a 7'10 wingspan. Unfortunately, injuries limited his court time with the Lakers and even when he was deemed active in the postseason, he did not have the trust of head coach Darvin Ham to actually enter the rotation.

Well the Lakers had another former lottery pick on their roster last season that they hoped would fill that role in Mo Bamba but they opted to waive him one day before free agency kicked off and his future remained uncertain. Rumors were swirling that he may return to LA on a smaller deal but Adrian Wojnarowski just reported that he will be with the Philadelphia 76ers next year on a one-year deal.
