END OF THE ROAD

Winners of seven in a row, the Warriors will look to keep that winning streak intact as they close out their four-game road trip in Indiana on Monday. This will mark the first of this season’s two head-to-head matchups between the Dubs and Pacers, and the Warriors swept last year’s season series, both of which were high-scoring affairs. Monday’s matchup will tip off at 4 p.m., and the game can be seen on CSN Bay Area or listen to Tim Roye with the call on KBLX 102.9 FM or on the Warriors Radio Network.

JUST FOR FUN

The Warriors will wear their standard road blue uniforms on Monday. After wearing their home whites on the first two games of the trip and their Slate alternate uniforms on Saturday, Monday will be the only game on this road trip in which they sport their standard road uniforms.

LAST TIME OUT

The Warriors bent but didn’t break and picked up a 124-121 victory in Milwaukee on Saturday night. Kevin Durant (33 points) and Klay Thompson (29 points) each made five 3-pointers, and a big defensive play by Draymond Green helped preserve the win after the Dubs saw their 14-point fourth quarter advantage shrink to two in the game’s closing seconds.

SHARING IS CARING

The Warriors have no shortage of top-tier offensive weapons. Their 116.8 points per game is 7.0 more than the second highest team total in the NBA, and perhaps even more impressive is the team’s ability to share the basketball. The Dubs have dished out at least 30 assists in each game of their current seven-game winning streak, and they have reached that 30-assist barrier nine times overall this season. No other NBA team has more than three such games this season. This unselfish style of play constantly results in open looks for some standout shooters, and as long as those shots continue to fall, the Dubs will be just fine.

INDIANA SCOUTING REPORT

The Pacers will head into Monday’s matchup on the back end of a back-to-back after playing in Oklahoma City on Sunday. Like the Warriors, Indiana has a roster full of capable scorers and owns one of the top offenses in the NBA. Of the six players who average 10-plus points per game, Paul George leads the way with 21.0 points per game. The Pacers have seen their fair share of ups and downs throughout this young season. They played two consecutive overtime games against the 76ers, owners of the worst record in the Eastern Conference, and less than a week later they handed the Cavs one of their two losses on the season. Both the Warriors and Pacers rank in the top five in field goal percentage, so Monday’s matchup could come down to whoever can get more stops down the stretch.
