Eventually Curry will have all the three-pointer records, it seems.

Stephen Curry set the NBA record for most three-pointers in a game with 13 against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night. The Golden State Warriors superstar has had a huge performance with 46 points on 16-of-25 shooting, including 13-of-17 from beyond the arc. If anything, it's a surprise Curry didn't already have the record. Now, he does.

The previous record of 12 made three-pointers in one game was held by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall. Bryant hit a dozen three-pointers for the Lakers against the Sonics on Jan. 7, 2003. Marshall tied that record by hitting 12 triples as a member of the Raptors in a win over the Sixers on March 13, 2005.

Curry is the greatest shooter the NBA has ever seen, so it's no surprise that he's taken the record for most threes in a game. The MVP has come close in the past: His previous career-high was 12 three-pointers.

There's just nobody else in the NBA like Curry. Now we can point to the record books for one more way to prove it.
