The Cavs made a season-high 20 three-pointers in the win.

Surprise, surprise: The Cleveland Cavaliers are hard to beat when they shoot well from behind the arc.

On Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks, the Cavs made a season-high 20 three-pointers en route to a 124-113 win. LeBron James pulled the strings, dishing out 17 assists to go along with 25 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Korver lead all Cavaliers with six three-pointers made with Kevin Love and Jose Calderon making four apiece, James and Jae Crowder both making two. J.R. Smith and Cedi Osman both made one. Smith also had eight assists, one less than his career-high.

Taurean Prince lead the Hawks with 24 points. Kent Bazemore finished with 20 points.

Tristan Thompson played just six minutes in his first game back from injury. Coach Tyronn Lue said before the game that he was on a minutes restriction, and the Fox Sports Ohio broadcast said he had met his minutes restriction. Thompson did not register any box score statistic.

The Cavs next play on Thursday when Lonzo Ball and the Lakers come to Cleveland. Tipoff is at 8 p.m.
