The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons scored a new major backer for their University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 82 campaign after it sealed a partnership deal with Palawan Express Pera Padala, the leading domestic money remittance company.

Palawan Pawnshop – Palawan Express Pera Padala owners, Bobby and Angelita Castro (President/ CEO and Executive VP/ Vice Chairman, respectively) and their five children, who are all UP alumni and working for the company, officially inked the Memorandum of Agreement on Tuesday, May 14, with Nowhere To Go But UP Foundation (NTGBUP), a volunteer group supporting UP’s varsity programs. UP AVP for Public Affairs Jose Wendell Capili, UP College of Human Kinetics Dean Francis Diaz, NTGBUP President and UPMBT Team Manager Atty. Agaton Uvero, Maroons Head Coach Bo Perasol and coaching staff and the UP Fighting Maroons attended the signing ceremony at Quezon Hall, UP Diliman.
