MANILA - UAAP: Ateneo's Tab Baldwin says defense will be key in Ateneo -UP on Game 1

"UP is an offensive machine. They love the transition game, they love to get out and run.  Paul Desiderio  is the heart of the team ," Baldwin said of the Fighting Maroons.

After 32 years of disappointing campaigns and winless seasons, the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons return to the UAAP men's seniors basketball finals.

"As they say "Success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan." Finally, I was privileged to watch a UP Game Live, with 21,0000 people at the Smart Araneta . Awesome, cardiac game UP won on OT. Congratulations UPMBT Fighting Maroons. Adamson, your team and your crowd fought so hard; you were SO intimidating. It was anybody's game really, , but UP fought harder and refused to lose" Said Joseph Pangilinan, an Alumnus.
