BIG things start from the small beginning.

Nathaniel Angelo Manarang started playing basketball in his makeshift half-court in their home’s backyard and at the covered court in their subdivision in Antipolo City along with his kid buddies.

He learned basic plays through his dad businessman-sportsman Nat Manarang, who was a Tarlacqueno commercial standout during his prime. He honed his skill further through cage clinics.

Since playing for San Beda College Rizal in 2015, coaches have branded him as a real potential talent.

As frontliner for the San Beda Rizal Red Cubs, Nathan will definitely go places.

His most prestigious moments came when he played for the country in Guam International tournament under his mentor VL Sandala. Another highlight was his stint last year as a member of the PH Youth Elite team under coach Mark Herrera.

Nathan plays along with the powerhouse teammates, the Alaos, Ronquillos and Bradleys who are all proud Bedans.

Make way for the future of Philippine basketball.
